She was predeceased by: her mother Geraldine Boley Milam Smeltzer. She is survived by: her parent Royce R. Milam; her brother-in-law Jimmie R. Williams; her granddaughters, Joy Diane Fossett and Grace Noel Fossett; her husband Dennis Haire of Glenwood, Iowa; her children, Paula Brown of Glenwood, Iowa, Melody Fossett (Douglas) of Papillion, Nebraska, Barry Haire (Lisa) of Papillion, Nebraska, Kimberly Glass (Scott) of Omaha, Nebraska and Jennifer Bazemore (Jason) of Omaha, Nebraska; and her siblings, Anne Williams (late Jimmie R. Williams) of Cypress, Texas, Roger Milam of Katy, Texas, Royce Milam (Sue) of Cypress, Texas, Gary Milam (Patty) of Argyle, Texas and Greg Milam (Debby) of Boerne, Texas. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren with two on the way; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peterson Mortuary (212 S Locust St, Glenwood, IA 51534). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
