She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Wilke and Marie Carolina Wilhemia Duitsman (Hauptmeier); her husbands, Donald Eugene Stewart and Francis Mangels; her brother Henry Duitsman; her sons-in-law, Steven Messer and Dick Cooper; her brother-in-law Jerry Bower; and her brothers, Harold (Mary Wallace), Dale (Twyla Sturdy), Clark Roberts and Gene Mangels (Faye Mangels).

She is survived by : her children, Russell Mangels (Deb) of Perry, Ron Mangels (Suzanne) of Rosharon, Texas and Arlyce Messer of Greenfield; her stepchildren, Vicki Lensch (Skip) of Redwing, Peg Cooper of Greenfield, Donnie Stewart (Suzette) of Appleton, Tom Stewart (Kim) of Alburnette and Tim Stewart (Michele) of Abbotsford, Wisconsin; her sisters, Joan Bower of League City and Irene Roberts of Urbandale, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Roberta Leder of Bettendorf, Iowa and Robert Mangels of Marshalltown, Iowa. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 18 step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren.
