With profound sadness, we say goodbye to LaVonne C. Hovenga of Grinnell, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornie Mooi and Nina Mooi (Janssen); her husband Donald Hovenga; her brother Leslie Mooi; her son Henry Hovenga; her granddaughter Krystle Strovers; and her daughter-in-law Lois Hovenga.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Hovenga of Newton, IA, Duane Hovenga (Teresa) of Collinsville, OK and Brian Hovenga of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Paul Hovenga (Misty), Ryan Hovenga (Danielle), Matthew Hovenga (Brianna), Emily Hovenga and Laura Hovenga; her great grandchildren, Aubrey Hovenga, Bryson Hovenga, Brooklyn Hovenga, Terra Nunn, Alex Nunn, Ash Hovenga, Lucas Hovenga and Elliana Hovenga; and her sister-in-law Colleen Mooi.
