It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Riesberg of Griswold, Iowa, born in Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Betty Jane Kimball (Rowe); her husband Joe Riesberg; her father Roger Kimball; her grandparents, Clair, Lela Kimball (Reinhart), Mack and Beulah Rowe (McClain); and her brother William "Bill" Kimball.
She is survived by : her daughter Abby De Jong of Atlantic; her stepchildren, Fran Tulley (Darrell) of California, Elaine Garaghty (Larry) of Minnesota, Nancy Skoumal (John), Mary Brown of Glidden and Mark Riesberg of Lyton; her sister Linda Kimball of Atlantic; and her siblings-in-law, Margie Sibbel of Manning, Dorothy Riesberg of Carroll, Leona Riesberg of Carroll and Leon Riesberg (Marlene) of Carroll. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 a Rosary, Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life luncheon is tentatively set for March 27, 2021, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Griswold, Iowa.
