It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip Jacob Rink of Griswold, Iowa, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Rink and Anna Rink (Redovich); his spouse Candise Bea Nelson; his son-in-law James Vierkant; and his sister-in-law Mavis Rink.

He is survived by : his children, Brian Rink of Griswold, Sheri Vierkant of Sumner and Meghann Vasquez (Bobby) of Missouri Valley; his daughter-in-law Tracy Rink of Atlantic; his grandchildren, Aidan, Kyra Rink, Hayley Vierkant, Nelson and Hazel Vasquez; and his siblings, Penny Rink (Fred Toth), Mark Rink and Bob Rink (Suzy).

Memorials may be made to Griswold Dollars for Scholars.
