It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delbert Gene Jungling of Grundy Center, Iowa, born in Aplington, Iowa, who passed away on February 9, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Jungling and Mina Jungling (Karsjens); his former life partner Dee; his children, Elaine, Bruce and Kevin; his granddaughter Haley; his great grandchild Rowen; his sister Marjorie Kramer; and his brothers-in-law, Donnie Kramer and Chuck Cleary.
He is survived by : his wife Nancy Conradi; his sons, Mark (Nancy) of Grundy Center and Steve of Wheaton, Illinois; his grandsons, Nathan (Jorden), Matt, Eric (Molly), Bryce (Hannah) and Josiah; his siblings, Alvin (Charla) of Melbourne and Janice Cleary of Parkersburg; and his stepchildren, Jan Conradi, Martin Conradi (Teresa), Susan Walber (Tim) and Joanne Conradi. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date as Delbert selflessly donated his body to the University of Iowa Medical College so that others may learn. Memorials may be directed to Grundy Center Emergency Services, Grundy County Memorial Hospital or to the United Church of Christ in Reinbeck.
