She was predeceased by : her parents, Lula Rops and John Rops; her sister Valda; her brother-in-law Arlo Dougan; her brother Marvin; her sister-in-law Verla Rops; her siblings, Betty Harken and Leonard Rops; her siblings-in-law, Gene Beving, John Ringena, Jim Ascher and LaDonna Rops; her niece Tresa Rops; and her nephew Allen Sword.
She is survived by : her children, Pamela Masiello (Mike) of Ankeny and Brent Ascher (Mary) of Grundy Center; her grandsons, Jonathan, Mark Masiello, Jake and Nick Ascher; her siblings, JoAnn Beving, Frances Hook (Floyd) and Dennis Rops (Rhonda); and her siblings-in-law, Jeanette Rops, Thelma Ringena, Annabelle Schriever (Lloyd), Diane Ascher, Don Harken and Ed Ascher (Beth). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
