He was predeceased by : his father Jackie Samo (Walbaum) of Grundy Center; and his grandparents, Carl, Marian Samo of Grundy Center, Fred Walbaum of Grundy Center and Diane Walbaum of Wellsburg.
He is survived by : his sons, Nolan Samo (Maggie McGee) of Ames and Eli Samo (Liz Sprangel) of St. Paul; the parent of his children Jody Samo; his son Jackie Samo; and his brother Shawn Samo (Rhonda) of Holland. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
