We bid farewell to Philip Lee Hawn (Grundy Center, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 27, 2025 at the age of 86. Philip Lee touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burgess Hawn and Ruth Wagner Hawn; his brothers, Bobby and Luverne; and his in-laws, Keith and Bernis Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Joy Bailey; his children, Lori, Bradley and Marci; his family, Lori, Jim Myers, Joe, Mike, Amber, Tommy, Brad, Jen Hawn, Abby, Nate, Bailey, Taylor, Meredith, Albert, Drew, Ava, Marci, Marty Rouse, Ally, Connor, Matt and Grace; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Nora, Mattea, Vera, Ava, Collins, Boden and Everly; his brother Doug; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Bailey (Pattie) and Sandy Hawn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grundy Center Cornerstone Methodist Church (707 6th St, Grundy Center, IA 50638). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family, which will be shared with the Cornerstone Methodist Church, the Grundy County Memorial Hospital and Unity Point Hospice.
