It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Akers of Guttenberg, Iowa, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Harbaugh and Opal Harbaugh (Harris); her husband Harley Akers; her daughter Susan Sornchai; and her son-in-law Peerapong Sornchai.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Kellner (Luke), Jim Akers (Lynda) and Judy Clefisch (Steve); her brother Larry Harbaugh (Eva); and her sister-in-law Marjorie Akers. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
