It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Schlueter (Guttenberg, Iowa), born in Sabula, Iowa, who passed away on February 9, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Ottaway and Edith Ottaway (McMahan); her husband Edward Schlueter Jr.; her siblings, Geneva Burckart, Phyllis Miller and Francis Ottaway; her stepchildren, Roger Schlueter and Sara Mangrum; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Posten (Junior), Fred Burckart, Earl Miller, Jimmy and Roger Schlueter.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Maiers (Ron) of Holy Cross, IA and Brian Schlueter (Nancy) of Dyersville, IA; her grandchildren, Nikki Maiers, Josh Maiers, Damon Maiers (Erica), Brooke Wulfekuhle (Greg), Craig Schlueter (Kim), Kristen Schlueter, Ted Owens (Megan) of Stephanie Owens, EJ, Austin Holte, Amy Pettit (Chris), Lauren Wallace (Jason) and Meagan Bishop (Andy); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Morarend (Steve) of Lansing, IA, Bob Schlueter (Cathy) of Rockford, IL and Joe Schlueter of Beloit, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
