She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ray C. Fletcher and Alpha Geneva Fletcher (Nagel); her husband Elliott Wade Lair; her children, Ray E. Lair of Camdenton, MO and Claudia K. Stenzel (Mike) of Hamburg, IA; her sister Mary Ann Gregg of West Plains, MO; and her son Wade Eugene Lair. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
