He is survived by: his spouse Jonne Carlsen of Harlan, Iowa; his sons, Jeff Carlsen (Rada) of Crystal Lake, Illinois and Chris Carlsen (Kristin) of Millard, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Elyse, Natalie, Jacob, Zach, Sam and Lexi; his great grandchild Liam Scott; and his brother Keith Carlsen (Shirley) of Bisbee, Arizona.
