She is survived by : her husband LeRoy Heese of Defiance, IA; her children, Patrick Heese of Elk Horn, Timothy Heese of Shenandoah, IA, Jackie Alberti (Todd) of Harlan, IA, Thomas Heese (Sheila) of Hudson, IA, Crystal Widemon (Rick) of Quitman, TX and Samuel Heese (Megan) of Exira, IA; and her sisters, Sister Joyce Blum of Council Bluffs, IA, Alice Zimmerman (Jerry) of Minden, IA and Judy Clark of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 24th 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home - Harlan (1304 9th St, Harlan, IA 51537). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 24th 2023 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A mass of christian burial was held on Monday, September 25th 2023 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (501 5th St, Defiance, IA 51527).
