He is survived by : his children, Jennifer Gardner of Harlan, Iowa, Tracy Gardner of Warsaw, Missouri, Crystal Gardner of Atlantic, Iowa and Devin Gardner of Atlantic, Iowa; and his brothers, Norman Gardner (Betty) of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Gary Gardner (Jeanne Mae) of Missouri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
