With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Wolcott of Harpers Ferry, Iowa, who passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Jo Wolcott to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Valley and Marian Valley (Davies); her husband Jim Wolcott; her parents-in-law, Mildred and Glenn Wolcott; and her brothers-in-law, Ray Wolcott, Tom Wolcott and Robert Wolcott.

She is survived by : her pet Ricky; her daughters, Bev Mentzer (Todd Nielson) and Rita Wolcott (Bobbie Marach); her grandchildren, Alexa and Braedon; her brother Jerry Valley (Beth); and her siblings-in-law, Duane Wolcott (Carol Jean), William Wolcott (Cookie), Rita Hoelker (Donald) and Carolyn Wokosin (Dan). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (307 Orange St, Harpers Ferry, IA 52146). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Ann's-St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Wexford Catholic Church, or the Harpers Ferry Rescue Squad.
