He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Kramer and Josephine Kramer (Stelken); his siblings, Francis "Fran" Schmitt (Ray), Mary McDermott (Orland), Anita McDermott (James), Bernard Kramer (Bernice), Herb Kramer (Irene), Ed Kramer (Dola), Fred A. Kramer and Vince Kramer (Connie); and his stepdaughter Karen Murdock.

He is survived by : his spouse Velma Herrig; his children, Brenda Rolwes (Gary) of Epworth, IA, Paul Kramer (Kim) of Dubuque, IA, Gary Kramer (Kelly) of Dubuque, IA and Carolyn Grubbs (Joey) of Monticello, FL; his stepdaughter Kim Timmerman (David); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Kramer of Epworth, IA and June Marston (David) of West Branch, MI.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
