He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorr Rawson and Anna Rawson (Weber); his parents-in-law, Carl Furness and Genny Furness; his brother Kenneth Rawson; and his sister-in-law Jean Furness.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Rawson (Furness); his grandchildren, Erika Beuter, Austin Lehman, Adreana Blair (Lucas), Joe Beuter, Emilee Beuter, Max Reed, Sloane Reed, Rowen Radley and Rylee Radley; his great grandchildren, Brennen Beuter, Amelia Brown, Morgan Brown and Keith Blair; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Furness, Donna Mae Rawson and Cindy Solem (Kevin); his nephew Gregory Mohr (Marilyn) of Helena, Montana; and his corgi Buddy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302). The military honors will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
