He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Domeyer and Frances Domeyer (Von Lehmden); his wife Shirley Stillmunkes; his son Carl Domeyer; and his siblings, William Domeyer, Daniel Domeyer (Virginette), Donald "Gomer" Domeyer, Milton Domeyer (Marie), Paul Domeyer (Diane), Ellen Domeyer, Loras Gravel, Roland Domeyer (Terese) and James Domeyer (LaVon).

He is survived by : his children, Terry Domeyer (Kim) of Guttenberg, Dale (Jody) of Holy Cross, James of Holy Cross, Jeff (Melissa) of Holy Cross and Ted Domeyer of Holy Cross; his daughter-in-law Karen Domeyer of Manchester; his siblings, Laverne "Bud" Domeyer of Petersburg, Mary Lou Gravel of Dyersville, Doris Burlage of Monticello and Peter Domeyer (Clarice) of Dubuque; and his parents-in-law, Rita Domeyer of Dyersville and Roger Stillmunkes (Sharon) of Ankeny. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
