With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon W. Smiarowski (Humeston, Iowa), born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on January 19, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Stanley Smiarowski (Betty) and Wesley Smiarowski (Leta); and his siblings' children, Bobby Smiarowski, Randy Smiarowski and Lynn Smiarowski.
He is survived by: his spouse Kathay Lingle; his children, Marc Smiarowski (Loresa) of Humeston Iowa, Traci Moreno (Mike) of Littleton and Tyler Smiarowski (Erica) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.; his close friend Irv Rosenberg; his grandchildren, Kelton, Kailey, Kourtney, Madaux, Marli, Brooks, Charlie and May; and his sibling's children, Sheryl Lawrentz (Andy), Lisa Von Felden (Robert), Susan Smiarowski, Dayna Guillory (Tobias) and Richard Smiarowski of California.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Humeston Swimming Pool.
