David Kalsem Obituary
In loving memory of David Kalsem (Huxley, Iowa), who departed this world on August 8, 2025 at the age of 90. David leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Kalsem and Marguerite JaVerne Kalsem (Ersland); and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kalsem of Des Moines; his children, Mike Kalsem (Michele) of Huxley, IA and Jill Feuerhelm (Scott) of Merrill, IA; and his grandchildren, Daniele Kalsem, Alyson Sassman (Joshua), Bryanna Kalsem, Luke Feuerhelm and Abby Feuerhelm.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Adams & Soderstrum Funeral Home-Huxley (102 N Main Ave, Huxley, IA 50124). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:10 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (609 Giddings St, Kelley, IA 50134).
Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church or the Fjeldberg Lutheran Church cemetery.
