He was predeceased by : his parents, Adolf "Fats" Fries Jr. and Evelyn "Toots" Fries (Meier). He is survived by : his wife Roberta Jean Sindt; his son Jay Alan Fries (Lisa) of Des Moines, IA; and his grandsons, Tyler Fries and Trevor Fries.
