She was predeceased by : her parents, John H. "Jack" and Edna H. Kisting (Bell); her son Douglas Mochal; and her brother Robert Kisting. She is survived by : her daughters, Sandra "Sandy" Thalmann (Robert) of Rochester, MN, Shelly Reck (Allan "Rusty") of Winthrop, IA and Candace Nickerson (Doug) of Cedar Falls, IA; her daughter-in-law Kelli Mochal of Hazleton, IA; her grandchildren, Stormy, Andrew, Matthew, Jacob, Lucas Mochal, Jonathan Thalmann, Brent Reck, Michelle McBride, Lauren, Nolan and Colin Nickerson; her sister Marilyn Viger of Slidell, LA; her sisters-in-law, Susan Clarke (Fred) of Lakewood, CO and Delores Kisting; and her husband Dr. John L. Mochal. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
