It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Lawless of Independence, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Harold and Anne Louise Newton (Aylsworth); and her son David Lawless. She is survived by : her daughter Lisa Fischels (Roger) of Independence; her daughter-in-law Terri Jo Lawless of Independence; her grandchildren, Jasmine Eblinig (Seth), Michael Fischels and Luke Lawless; and her sisters, Nancy Bantz (Steven) of Independence and Rebecca Zieser (Paul) of Independence.
