She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley M. "Zib" and Maud Lorene Mott (Swinbank); her husband James K. Arnold, Sr.; and her brother Jimmy Mott. She is survived by : her former life partner Ralph Hawkins; her children, James Hawkins (Meshell) of Independence, Michael Hawkins of Sacramento, Christine Kerkove (John) of Independence and Sue Ann Hoefer (Ron) of Masonville; her stepsons, James Kent Arnold, Jr. (Sheri) of Independence and Scott J. Arnold (Angela) of Altoona; and her brother Richard Mott (Sheryl) of Jesup. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic and as recommended by the Governor of Iowa, social distancing will be required. Those in attendance are strongly encouraged to wear a mask at the services.
