She was predeceased by: her parents, George Abernathy and Mildred Abernathy; and her grandson Sean Waterman. She is survived by: her husband Steve; her children, Julie Stein (Phil) of Algona, Mike (Jen) of Virginia Beach and Andy of West Branch, Iowa.; her grandchildren, Matt Stein (Ashley), Rachel Stein, Nick Stein, Allie Waterman, Abbie Waterman, Anna Waterman, Zach Waterman and Colby Waterman; and her great grandchild Lauren Stein. She is also survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Endowment Fund at The Village in Indianola, Osceola United Methodist Church, or your favorite charity.
