We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025, at the age of 83, Forrest Gerrold Bruce of Indianola, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Bruce and Ercell Bruce. He is survived by: his children, Steven Bruce, Kris Bruce and Traci Lehnen (William); his grandchildren, Michael, Katie and Brianna; his sister Mary Bruce; and his brother-in-law David Allen (Linda).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Ioof Cemetery (1202 S Jefferson Way, Indianola, IA 50125).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Helping Hand in Indianola.
