With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jean Chumbley of Indianola, Iowa, born in Pleasantville, Iowa, who passed away on February 4, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur Chumbley; her parents, Bill DeHoet and Thelma DeHoet; and her grandson Jason Ness. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Ness (Howard), Sherry Sines (James) and Jeff Chumbley (Barbara); her grandchildren, Joseph Ness (Sarah), Jenna Ness (Sam Kuster), Thomas Sines (Dina), Benjamin Sines (Sandra Davidson), Lauren Sines (Ian Cook) and Tara Chumbley (Felix Timmons); her great grandchildren, Joaquin Sines, Bianca Sines, Charlie Ness and Kole Kuster; her sister Marilyn Heemstra; her nephew Rodney Heemstra (Berta); and her niece Marcie Wilkinson.
