He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Jeanne; his children, Stephen, Lisa, Jenni Seo-Moy (John Seo) and Bridget; his mother Lloyda Moy; his brother James Moy (Nina Fertey); his nephews, Andrew Fertey Moy (Viet Anh) and Keith Fertey Moy (Jen Calvo); his niece Hannah Fertey Moy (Joe Ranieri); and his father Ernest Moy.

A rosary was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (618 E Davenport St, Iowa City, IA 52245). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
