She was predeceased by: her husband Ned Allen; her son Mark; and her brother Charles Yarbrough. She is survived by: her siblings, Lois Ryan, Earnest and Vernon Yarbrough; her children, Greg Allen (Linda), Tracy Jackson (Fritz), Joy Tinnes (Greg) and Jay Allen; her grandchildren, Mallory (Ben), Lindsay (Stu), Sky, Nathan, Jackson and Logan; and her great grandchildren, Emma and Mason.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service (2720 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Tiffin Grace United Methodist Church or Tiffin First Responders.
