Ardell George Johnson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ardell George Johnson of Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on November 12, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Johnson and Alvina Johnson (Lenz); his sister Geraldine Watkinson; his brother-in-law Robert; and his former wives, Marilyn and Ardith Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Peg Raab (John) of Iowa City, David Johnson (Deb) of Iowa City and Kathy Shemanski (Gary) of Iowa City; his grandson Scott Johnson (Laura) of Boone, IA; and his brother Dale Johnson (Ardath) of Iowa City. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Iowa City Hospice.
