She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick W. Boerner and Sarah Mahree Boerner (Warriner); and her brother Arthur W. Boerner. She is survived by: her sister Anna M. Boerner of Iowa City.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service (2720 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240). A reception will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Carolyn's memory to First Christian Church of Coralville and to the P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund.
