It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clayton L. Griebel of Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Clayton shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Clayton farewell, we carry with us the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding us through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Marvin Griebel and Florine Griebel Sr. (Wolfgram). He is survived by : his siblings, Sharon Yoerger, Linda Mussmann, Julia Franzen (Wayne), Lorraine Thomas (Kevin Kelly), Kathy Duffey (Rex), Nadine Jackson (Ernie), Tracey Griebel, Marvin Griebel, Jr., Elvin Griebel and Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (210 E Platt St, Maquoketa, IA 52060). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
