He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald R. Brogla and Margaret L. Brogla (Yoder); his brother Michael (Susan Brogla); his sibling's children, Lindsey Brogla (Rameo Riojas), Courtney Brogla and Tyler Brogla; and his uncle Paul Brogla.

Memorial donations can be made in David's memory to the Regina Foundation.
