He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Hackmann and Carrie Hackmann (Freiburghaus); and his sister Rosemarie. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Robinson; and his children, Daniel Hackmann (Marion), Cynthia Johnston, Carol Arch (Chris) and Sara Arnold. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
