She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Duwa and Agnes Duwa; her husband Leo Clement Krotz; her children, Greg and Sheila; and her siblings, Dale, Vera, Velma, Cleola, Clifford, Irma and Elaine.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki (Larry Fountain) and Jeanne (Robert Colestock); her grandchildren, Courtney, Samantha, Jenna, Robert Jr., Bethany and Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Malia, Tenley, Noelle, Enora, Zindee, Wyatt, Nelleigh, Theo, Cienna, Leo and Ryker.
A rosary was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service (2720 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240). Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (228 E Jefferson St, Iowa City, IA 52245).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Dolores's honor to support causes important to her.
