He was predeceased by: his parents, James Curtis and Ethel Barnhart (Fielman); his wife Ardis Ellen Shupitar; and his brothers, Ivan, Harold and James.

He is survived by: his children, Jill Barnhart and Clint Barnhart.

In lieu of flowers memorials donations can be made in Don's memory to Springdale United Methodist Church.
