He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Spevacek and Mary Spevacek (Stebral); his grandson Kevin Lovell; and his children-in-law, Patricia Spevacek (Kasper) and Jack Heaton.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Rummelhart; his children, Gary of Iowa City, Sandra Heaton of Iowa City, Nancy of Iowa City and Cathy of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Amy Augustine (Ken), Christa Avise, Tamara Hill (Jim), Travis Spevacek (Erinn), Brian Spevacek (Mindy) and Andrew Lovell (Naomi); and his sister Bernice Smith. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Don Spevacek Memorial Fund or Regina Foundation.
