She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Jones and Barbara Jones (Tuttle); her husband Leo; and her brothers, DeWayne, Gene and Marion "Edwin" Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Dave Welsh (JoyceAnne) of Iowa City, IA, Cathy Burkholder (Lonnee) of Iowa City, IA, Teresa Plotz (Mark) of Marengo, IA and Marie Welsh (Scott Zitzow) of Conroy, IA; her grandchildren, Cory (LaRee), Josh (Michelle), Amber (Josh), Jamie (Scott) and Megan; and her great grandchildren, William, Oliver, Kai and Kylie.
Instead of flowers and plants, the family suggests memorials to Friends of Old St. Michael's in Holbrook or Iowa City Hospice.
