George Kisner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2021, at the age of 90, George Kisner of Iowa City, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Kisner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Warren Kisner and Ethel Alicia Kisner (Raffety); and his siblings, Carol Higgins, Frances Magrabi, Charles and Herbert Kisner.
He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Kennedy; his wife Harriet Jane Yoder; his children, Kathy Kisner (John Curtin) of Des Moines and John Kisner (Jennifer Cook) of Des Moines; his granddaughters, Mollie and Zoe; his stepchildren, Bonnie Goodwin (John) of Lisbon, Jane Coufal of Sun City, AZ, Doug Yoder (Janet) of Kalona and Jeff Yoder of Sun City, AZ; and his close friend Mary Jo Haugen of Wellman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Wellman-Scofield Public Library.
