She was predeceased by: her daughter Pam Jones; and her siblings, Robert, LaVonna, LaVelda and Clara LaVerna.

She is survived by: her husband Dale Heck; her children, Dave Heck (Suzy) of Iowa City and Deb Heck of Phoenix; her son-in-law Marty Jones (Pam) of Iowa City; and her grandsons, Chris Jones (Renee), Cutler Simpson of Braxton Simpson, D. J and Gage Heck.
