He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dean and Harriett Hartsook of Creston. He is survived by: his parents, Tony Hartsook (Londa) of Des Moines and Angee Wilson Vinzant of Ankeny; his grandparents, Steve and Deb Liddle of Meriden; his aunt Laura; and his uncle Lucas Liddle of Marion.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Angee Vinzant or to the family of Tony Hartsook.
