James J. Croker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Croker of Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on February 18, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Croker and Rose A. Croker (Hinsberger); his wife Joanne Melton (Church); his siblings, Vincent, John, Dick Croker, Calista and Collete Croker; and his sister-in-law Mary Croker.
He is survived by: his son James (Anne); his grandchildren, Jenny, Lisa Spiek Jimmy (Anne) and Andrew; his children, Michael and Laurie Moore (Joe); his grandchildren, Nick and Abbie Ring (John); and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Matthew Spiek, Bryson Croker, Oliver, Jaxon Ring and Kodi Moore. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Masks are required and social distancing practices will be in place at both the funeral home and at St. Mary's.
Instead of flowers and plants, the family suggests memorials to Bickford Assisted Living (Iowa City) or St. Croix Hospice (Cedar Rapids).
