James Rahe Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Rahe of Iowa City, Iowa, born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Marc Rahe (Leigh) of Iowa City, Deirdre Giesler (Bret) of Pleasantville and Kara Rahe (Rodney) of Iowa City; his brothers, Jon Rahe of Prescott and Richard Rahe (Myra) of Orange, California; his grandchildren, Erika Jenkins (Ryan) of Urbandale, Jonathan Bach (Erika) of Sioux City, Abigail Ariola (Adam) of Colorado Springs, Dorothy Bach of Colorado Springs, Colarda and Larry (Lydia Giesler); his parents, James and Mary Lotton Rahe Sr.; and his wife Mary Joe Beard.

Due to Covid concerns attendees are encouraged to wear a mask.

Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
