Jo Beer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Beer of Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on April 10, 2021 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jo Beer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mente and Emma Mente; her daughters, Connie and Cyndy; her siblings, Kenneth Mente and Genevieve Meier; and her siblings-in-law, Herbert Beer, Helen Sandersfeld, Paula Sandersfeld, Esther Sandersfeld and Norma Mollison.
She is survived by: her sons, Ted (Deborah) and Michael; her husband Martin; her sister Geraldine Reeve; and her sisters-in-law, Sylvia Taulbee and Lois Dunnavent. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandsons.
Social distancing guidelines are in place and masks are required – thank you.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be directed to Iowa City Hospice or Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
