He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis J Liittschwager and Anna B Liittschwager; and his wife Virginia Lou Idso. He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Patti) of Clive, Fonda Weber (Lyle) of Coralville, Rob of Iowa City and Jean (Trey Matteson) of Palo Alto, CA; and his sister Lucinda Ann Lowery (Dick) of Green Valley, AZ.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
