Joseph Thomas Halsch Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Thomas Halsch of Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on April 20, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Halsch and Helen Halsch; his brother Gerald Halsch; his parents-in-law, Jean and Charles Rankin; and his brother-in-law Jim Wilson.
He is survived by: his parent-in-law Lou Rankin; his children, Ben (Joanna) and Elie; his wife Lou; his daughter Sarah Whitmore (Ian); and his grandchildren, Sam, Emma Halsch and Wesley Whitmore. He is also survived by brothers and sisters; his many nieces and nephews; and great- nieces and nephews.
