She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Steve Novak and Julia Novak; her husband Eddie; and her brother Gary Novak (Michelle) of Marshalltown, IA.

Memorial donations may be made to the University of Iowa's School of Music Percussion Ensemble, the Iowa City/Johnson County Senior Center, the Cancer Center at the University of Iowa, the Iowa City Hospice or the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.
