He was predeceased by: his son Shannon Semler; his parents, Frederick Semler and Mae Semler (Stumpf); his siblings, Donald Semler (Loretta), Joe Semler, Dorothy Lemley (Leo), Clara Jordan (Keith), George Semler (Gertrude) and Ed Semler; and his wife Karen Brenneman.
He is survived by: his son Shane (Lisa Semler); and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Semler and Kathy Carney (Ed).
