Margaret A. Rankin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2021, at the age of 86, Margaret A. Rankin of Iowa City, Iowa, born in Ames, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Meriden Rankin and Vida Rankin (Jorstad); and her brother-in-law Roland Blochowitz. She is survived by: her siblings, Hila Garms (Bob), David Rankin (Diane) and Donna Blochowitz; her siblings' children, Mindy Dunlap (Bill), Matt Garms (Angie), Dennis Rankin, Brian Rankin (Caroline), Scott Blochowitz (Judy) and Hila Ann Cartwright (Andy); and her pet Trixie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Trail of Johnson County or The Birdhouse Hospice.
